Maybe it was just my luck, but before we went to The Spot, I was told to expect an excellent filet mignon. This reccomendation came from someone, who I would say knows what he is talking about when it comes to food. As I expected, I ordered the filet, but when it came out, I was not overly excited. I do not think it was cooked medium as I requested, rather awfully close to well. Good thing others, ordered various other dishes I could leech of. The greatest dish was the mushroom soup. I have to also add the fries were also quiet impressive. Besides the food, the environment in this bar was rather lively, and the night we attended was trivia which just added another level of excitment to the meal.
