I have been dining at Tandoor since its opened, and their food has been consistently excellent. On Sundays they have an affordable brunch. One of my favorite items on their menu is the Tandoori Chicken, comon, what a name like Tandoor you would hope their Tandoori Chicken is simply amazing. Another great vegetarian item is the Punjabi Pakora Kudi, I have never had it prepared as well as Tandoor. I would think over the years I have eaten almost everything on their menu, especially since Tandoor is also famous for its catering, but these 2 dishes are the ones that stick out. An interesting aspect of the restaurant is that you can see the chef cooking with the tandoor. If you are around the Rego Park area of Queens and enjoy Indian, this is a must hit.
